Bank Holiday Today is a static informational website. We do not run user accounts, we do not collect names, email addresses or phone numbers, and the bank-holiday checker runs entirely in your browser — your selected state or nation never leaves your device.

What we store

• Preferences in your browser: your last-selected region and ad dismissal state are kept in your browser's local storage / session storage. This is device-local data you can clear at any time; we never see it.
• Server logs: our hosting provider may record standard technical logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and diagnostics. These are not linked to any identity.

Cookies & advertising

We show advertisements to keep the site free. Our advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. If we adopt a consent-management platform in the future, this policy will be updated to name it.

Analytics
